Tenzing was born and raised in the Himalayas, swimming in the rivers that melted from the glaciers of Tibet. He was raised among monks who, he remembers, were quick to smile and laugh. Tenzing began swimming when he was five and hasn’t stopped since. At school in Kathmandu, he was the best swimmer in his high school. Tenzing arrived in New York in 2017 with little more than ambitions in his bag. When not working for Imagine, he can be found either going to college or in a café reading books.
