Kenneth grew up in the South Bronx and has loved being around the water since he was a baby, when his mother took him to Mommy & Me lessons. He went on to join club teams in grade school, and swam competitively throughout high school. During his college years at SUNY DELHI, Kenneth spent his summers lifeguarding, which sparked his passion in teaching. Working as a New York City lifeguard, he witnessed countless kids at public pools who didn’t know how to swim but were eager to learn. He decided to do something about it, first teaching private lessons at a variety of programs, before finding his way to Imagine ins early 2018.
