Jean Carlos is the twin brother of longtime Imaginaire, Miguel Rodriguez. The brothers were born and raised in the Dominican Republic before moving with their family to New York City when they were 12-years-old. From the earliest age, Jean Carlos embraced his passion for the water, swimming in the oceans and lakes and rivers of the DR. When his family settled in the city, he swam competitively throughout high school and worked as a Lifeguard in his free time. Jean graduated from St. Bonaventure University with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication in May 2015, and he is now pursuing a career in sports broadcasting. As he embarks on that new career path, Jean also continues to honor his love for aquatics, as he seeks to inspire kids in the pool, alongside his brother Miguel, each week at Imagine.
