Swimming has always been a way of life for Crissy. Seldom a day goes by when she's not in the water for hours on end. She has been teaching the entire spectrum of aquatics - from Baby Swim classes to group lessons to water aerobics - since she was 15-years-old. Crissy comes from a family of swimmers whose parents stressed that water safety was paramount. That lesson stuck - as five of their children went on to become lifeguards, swim instructors, and competitive swimmers! Growing up, she competed for the Riverdale YMHA swim team as an age grouper, and went on to swim in college as a member of the BMCC Panthers. Her passion for early education also extends outside the pool, where Crissy is currently pursuing a career as an occupational therapist for special needs children. She joined Imagine's full-time office team in the summer of 2012.
