Though born in the peninsula borough of Brooklyn, it wasn't until high school that Clinton found his way into a body of water. It was Franklin K. Lane High School, where he first entered. After a short three weeks, Clinton found himself on the school swim team, racing in the 100m backstroke. His dazzling jump to competitive swimming didn't end there, as the gifted swimmer went on to finish the season undefeated. Clinton went on to become a lifeguard for New York City later that year, and continues to provide his lifesaving skills around Shack 116 at Rockaway Beach during the summer. Over the years, swimming has come to mean the world to Clinton, and he looks forward to passing on this love and passion for water to the families of Imagine Swimming.
