Clifton was born and raised in San Diego, CA, where swimming has always been his way of life. He has been surfing for over a decade and has traveled around the world chasing swell. Needless to say, Clifton feels more comfortable playing in the water than walking on land. He moved to New York two years ago to pursue his other love in life, acting. In order to keep the balance between these two passions, he moved to Rockaway Beach so he would always have the surf readily available all year long. And yes, he surfs even while it snows! Clifton notes that the water is the one place where you can forget all your worries and just have fun - a philosophy he's proud to pass along at Imagine, as he helps kids of all ages discover their own love of the water.
