Director, Staffing and Operations
Charlotte grew up in the suburbs of Rockland Country where she spent her summers lifeguarding and teaching lessons at the local pool. Her aunt first encouraged her to learn how to swim after several family members had near death experiences in the water. When she was 11, Charlotte began swimming competitively for Metro-area club teams, including the New York Sharks and the Condors Swim Club. She also swam for her high school swim team, East Ramapo, and went on to join the Hunter College Swim Team. There she competed as one of the Hawks' top freestyle sprinters, helping them win the CUNY Championships her senior year. She has recently graduated from Hunter with a degree in Sociology and a double minor in African Puerto Rican and Latino Studies and Psychology.
