Catherine is a lifelong swimmer who was a backstroker and freestyler at Principia College. She has taught lessons to all ages for over seven years, beginning in high school. Originally from New Hampshire, Catherine grew up on a lake. It was there that her passion for swimming blossomed, as she would swim each day until sunset and still long to stay immersed after dark. Today she can be found reading on the subway or rollerblading along the rail trail during rare moments out of the water.
