Caitlin grew up in New Jersey, where she started swimming competitively at age five for her summer team. At eight, she joined her local YMCA team, where she competed until she was 18. She was also a member of her high school's Varsity swim team all four years, with her specialities being butterfly and distance freestyle. Caitlin began lifeguarding and teaching lessons at 15, originally volunteering at a specialized children’s hospital. In college, she stopped swimming competitively, but continued guarding and teaching at a YMCA in Sarasota, Florida. Now studying at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, Caitlin continues to share her love of the water with kids each week and is beyond excited to be a part of the Imagine Swimming family.
