Aliaksei (you can call him Alex) hails from Belarus, where he began his swimming journey when he was six-years-old. He's been in the water almost every day since! He earned a spot at the College of Olympic Reserve, which gave him the opportunity to train with the Belarus National team, and learn from some of the best coaches in Europe. After four years there, he entered State University of Physical Culture, where his major focus was swimming education, while also studying anatomy, biochemistry, biomechanics, physiology, and more. He first came to the U.S. after receiving a position with the South Carolina Beach Patrol, before moving northeast and joining Imagine in 2019.
