Adison hails from northeast Massachusetts, born in the town of Lawrence. He moved to New York City when he was five and has been a city kid ever since. Adison began swimming relatively late, in his sophomore year of high school, where he also played varsity basketball. His first job in aquatics was as a lifeguard at Roberto Clemente state park, where he worked for four summers, and soon began teaching lessons. Prior to joining Imagine, Adison taught lessons with Aqua Beba and New Settlement, teaching a wide spectrum of ages, from two to fifteen. He currently attends Bronx Community College where he majors in criminal justice, with the future goal of becoming an FBI agent.
